Situated
in a quiet cul-de-sac, Atherton House was built
in 2001 on the shores of Lake Wanaka.
Set in almost half a hectare of lawns and gardens, surrounded by
trees, this contemporary home takes full advantage of the unimpeded
views across the lake to the mountains beyond.
Atherton House was created to give guests a tranquil and relaxing
experience as well as offering warm and friendly hospitality.
Guests
are well looked after at Atherton House, with the use of a separate
wing, but are also warmly welcomed by hosts Roy and Kate Summers
to enjoy the rest of the house.
As Kate is an antique dealer, Atherton House is furnished with many
interesting antiques from New Zealand and around the world. In addition, the home fetures contemporary New Zealand art from well-known New Zealand
artists.
Roy and Kate have hosted bed-and-breakfast accommodation for many years on their farm and
look forward to ensuring their visitors to Wanaka enjoy their
stay. |
